#10 - 7 tools won’t save you, 1 strategy will. Here's how
Wednesday Wisdom
Thought for the Week
A powerful tool in the hands of someone without direction is simply a distraction.
So, you need to ask yourself - are you building with intention, or just reacting to what's trending?
I always value feedback & questions. Write to me at [email protected].
Hope you've been having a great week!
FYI, I came across this really simple yet useful portable standing desk. If you're someone who works from home and likes to have some movement, see this.

This Week's Insights🎙️
Recently I've been feeling this sort of pressure to keep up with this "wave of AI tools and strategies". I'm seeing so many tools through ads on Instagram & Facebook, receiving endless cold emails who are "super impressed with my work and see an amazing chance to work together" as their tools apparently provide solutions to help generate 1000s of $$ every month.
As tempting as it seems to try new software to help optimise every element of my business, I find myself coming back again and again to the same conclusion: more tools don’t equal better systems. In fact, without a clear strategy, they may create overwhelm, inefficiency, and a loss of focus and productivity.
As a species, we already only use <10% of our brains capacity. If we keep going down this path of using AI to replace our thinking capacity, then won't we reduce our brain usage even more?
Simply put, AI works best when guided by strategic intent - when you know what you’re trying to solve, for whom, and why it matters. Use it with the purpose of enhancing your thinking and problem-solving abilities, not replacing it.
Practical Tips ✅
Start with the problem: Don’t get caught up in what a tool can do; focus on what problem you need to solve.
Limit your tech stack: Simpler systems, used well, often outperform complex setups as they require more maintenance.
Use AI for clarity, not chaos: Delegate repetitive tasks, but keep strategic thinking in your hands.
